  • SOLSOL s.r.o., Company ID: 293 60 391, headquartered at Zeleného 652/9, Brno, Postal Code 616 00, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Brno, Section C, Insert 75143 (“SOLSOL” or “we”), as the operator of the ALFRED.energy service (“Alfred”) and the controller of your personal data;
  • Alfred is available to you as a user and a data subject (“you”) through this website and the ALFRED.energy mobile application upon acceptance of the Terms of Use of the Alfred Service („Terms of Use“) and fulfillment of other conditions;
  • The operation of Alfred requires us to collect and process certain personal data, and we are committed to protecting this data and your privacy;
  • In processing your personal data, we comply with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and relevant Czech laws;
  • Based on the above, we issue this Privacy Policy to fulfill our information obligations under GDPR as the Data Controller towards you as the user of Alfred;

SOLSOL ISSUES THE FOLLOWING PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING POLICY:

LEGAL BASIS AND PURPOSE OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

1. Processing necessary for the contractual relationship:

We process your personal data to establish and fulfill the contractual relationship between you and us, including providing the ALFRED service. The purposes include:
a) Setting up your user account in Alfred.
b) Registering and linking your photovoltaic power plant (“FVE”) or other devices to Alfred.
c) Using Alfred’s services.
d) Collecting and processing activity logs from your FVE or other devices (e.g., heat pumps, boilers, air conditioners).
e) Providing technical support for your FVE, including notifying contractual partners about necessary maintenance.
f) Payment of fees for Alfred’s services.

2. Processing necessary to protect legitimate interests:

We process personal data to protect our legitimate interests, such as:

  • Direct marketing, including sending commercial messages about our products and services.
  • Protecting Alfred’s software and IT systems from misuse.

3. Processing necessary to fulfill legal obligations:

We process personal data to comply with accounting and tax obligations mandated by law.

4. Processing based on informed consent:

We process personal data for purposes such as direct marketing, including sending promotional messages about products and services unrelated to Alfred, products and services from our contractual partners, market research, surveys, and statistical and analytical purposes.

CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA

We process the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification Data: Name, surname, date of birth, user ID assigned by us, IP address, login, and password for your user account.
  • Contact Data: Residence address, delivery address, phone number, email address, and the address of the FVE managed by Alfred.
  • Business Data: Billing information, bank account details, provided services, and payment history.
  • Technical Data: FVE details (installed capacity, battery capacity, manual smart control settings), distribution data (tariff, overflow permissions, reserved power), technology used (inverter, battery, smart meter), FVE location, and technical operation data (e.g., production, consumption).
  • Analytical and Marketing Data: Feedback surveys, user behavior monitoring (heatmaps, anonymized application usage videos, clicks within modules).

CATEGORIES OF DATA RECIPIENTS

We engage service providers who may access or process your personal data on our behalf, including:

  • Developers and service providers for Alfred.
  • Cloud storage operators for Alfred.
  • Payment gateway providers.
  • Authorized Alfred users granted access to your FVE or account.
  • Electricity distributors for FVE configuration and network connection.
  • Energy traders for performance balancing services.
  • Contractual partners for FVE maintenance and technical support.
  • Accounting, tax, and legal service providers.
  • Insurers and brokers handling claims.
  • PR and marketing consultants.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD

We retain your personal data for the duration of the contractual relationship, your user account, or another legal basis for processing. After this period, we handle the data per applicable laws, particularly GDPR. Data processed with your consent is retained only for the purpose for which it was granted or until the consent is withdrawn.
